ODATC General Membership Meeting

Wild Flowers of Virginia presented by Dr. Barbara Ann Wiederkehr.

One of the joys of hiking is being observant of the flora and fauna that surround you. Native Wildflowers are not only lovely to behold, they are also an important part of the ecosystem. Learn more about the beauty of Wildflowers that are scattered at our feet as we hike through nature.

The meeting begins at 7 PM, but members are encouraged to arrive at 6:30 for socializing and calisthenics. Snacks to share are always welcome and we’d also like you to bring a canned good to donate to the church’s food bank.

The meeting will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2315 N. Parham Rd)

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
