Several ODATC members have decided to attend the following hike offered by Road Scholar. Any other ODATC members that may be interested are encouraged to enroll in this hike as well. Interested members can click on the link below to view the details of this event. Members wanting to enroll should do so directly with Road Scholar and establish their own travel arrangements to and from the hike's starting point, Peach Springs, AZ and the Hualapai Lodge.

Hiking Granite Gorge and Supai, Program #7704RJ, Mar 18-24, 2013, (hike up to 6-8 miles/day), $1049 double occupancy or $1369 single occupancy plus airfare to/from Phoenix, AZ Sky Harbor Airport and van travel from airport to/from lodge and hike starting point, Peach Springs, AZ. Alternately, can travel to Las Vegas airport (which is closer) and rent a car to travel to Peach Springs. Average high temp for March at Supai is 67 degf and average low (at night) is 38 degf. Average precipitation is .88 in and average snowfall is 0 in.

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
