May 16th General Membership Meeting at Powhatan State Park
ODATC's final meeting until the fall will be held at Powhatan State Park on Sunday, May 16.

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Hike Around the Park
Club Treasurer Bill Beck has volunteered to lead a hike of about 4.5 to 5 miles. If you wish to join Bill's hike, meet at Shelter 3 down by the river at 1:30 PM. He plans to be back from the hike by 3:30 PM, in time for the club's 4:00 short meeting and 4:15 presentation on the park.

4:15 Until...Presentation on the Park As was the case in last year's outdoor meeting, feel free to bring a picnic basket with your own goodies if you want to eat at the park. The club will provide water and snacks for all participants.
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
