Beth Kirwin (804.212.6437 or elkirwin@gmail.com). Our annual January Freezeree will take place January 26-27, 2019. We are changing the January Freezeree to hike from Route 56 N on the AT to Harpers Creek shelter due to the downed trees between Rockfish Gap and Paul Wolfe shelter. This is a 3-mile hike. It can be extended after we get settled at the shelter if people want a longer hike. This is a chance to test your winter gear and enjoy the camaraderie of others who long for outdoor adventure. To qualify for this backpacking trip you MUST meet at least one of the following criteria: Have a birthday in January; Know someone who has a birthday in January; Have a birthday sometime in 2019. If you don't think you qualify....call me and we'll talk.
