Bill Tennant (282-0590 or Willyten10@aol.com) Let's take a walk in the woods around the lake on an autumn day. This walk has a few ups and downs, is about 6 miles, and is in one of Virginia's nicest state parks. PACK A LUNCH and we will circle one side of the lake in the morning, eat lunch at the lake pavilion, and circle the other side of the lake in the afternoon. This park is in Cumberland, which is about 40 miles west of Richmond. Carpool from the parking lot in front of JO ANN Fabric (behind theTaco Bell and Chick-fil-a in the Westchester Commons Shopping Center ,which is on the Northwest corner of Route 288 and Route 60). Meet for the carpool at 8:50. We should be back by about 3. I can hear those leaves rustling.
