Nov 9 (Fri) Three Ridges Mau Har AT loop (A/1)
David Olli (dolli@smv.org or 864-1461) Some say one of the most challenging day hikes around: 14 miles of vigorous elevation change, couple of stream crossings, some slippery boulder spots but couple of grand view rock outcrop views and victorious feeling you’ve conquered the mountain. I like carpooling from the I-64 Oilville exit and begin from the Route 54 Tye River swing bridge parking area. It’s a long, tough hike so we’ll start pretty early to get off trail before dark. Post-hike dinner stop a potential option. If the circuit trek is new to you please check with Dave before signing on. No young children or pets, please.
