We are taking a sabbatical on the “Intro to Backpacking” class this year but we are still having an OJT beginner’s backpacking field practical to the Paul Wolfe Shelter. We will have several “seasoned” instructors along. The number of attendees will be limited so call Mike early to reserve your spot and for answers to any questions on gear, preparation, etc

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
