Eight Weeks of Fall Season Tuesday Morning Hikes along the James River Park System incorporating a variety of routes.
Dates: Sept 25 (Tues), October 2 (Tues), 9 (Tues), 16 (Tues), 23(Tues) , 30 (Tues) and Nov 6 (Tues) and 13 (Tues).

Hikes begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Meeting Location: Heads Up! There is a new Meet-Up Location: Floodwall Parking Lot at the end of Semmes Avenue. To get there follow Forest Hills East to where is splits just beyond CrossRoads Cafe and in front of the Patrick Henry Elementary School. Bear left onto what becomes Semmes Avenue.You will now be going in a northerly direction. Go through the intersection at Cowardin Ave. and continue north. You will see signs located on an overhead pass, stay left, and immediately after passing under the signs you will see the entrance to the Floodwall Parking Lot. Turn left into the parking lot. (near Manchester Bridge)
You can also follow Belvedere south and it eventually becomes Cowardin Avenue. At the intersection of Cowardin and Semmes, turn Left and look for the signs on the overhead pass, stay left, and once you pass under the signs you will see the entrance to the Floodwall Parking Lot. Turn left into the lot.
Give yourself plenty of time as Forest Hills and Semmes may be slow with the onset of rush hour traffic. We will see how it goes on the first day we meet. We can discuss at that time an alternative meet-up location if desired.
It is NOT necessary to register or RSVP. Just show up at the designated meeting place. If the weather is questionable check the web site for possible cancellation. Bring water, snack, and some day you may be glad you brought rain gear !
