Oct 3 (Wed) Rural Plains House - Hanover (D/4)
Cathy Winston 2whitecats@comcast.net (368-0312). Hike the Rural Plains House site where Patrick Henry got married. The hike is in a recently created national park with hiking trails. From I-295 exit 38 Pole Green Road East, go 1/2 mile, left turn into the Food Lion S.C. at 8319 Bell Creek Rd 23116 and meet in front of the Subway. Lunch is optional. Meet at 9:50 AM.
It is NOT necessary to register or RSVP. Just show up at the designated meeting place. If the weather is questionable check the web site for possible cancellation. Bring water, snack, and some day you may be glad you brought rain gear !
