Appalachian Trail Conservancy
ATC will be providing a Leave No Trace Trainer Course for partners and volunteers on June 9th and 10th. The course will be held at the Mountain Shepherd Survival School in Craig County, VA which is about ~40 minutes from Roanoke. In the past, ATC has hosted courses down at Mount Rogers so this is a great opportunity to have a course that is more centrally located for the central Virginia clubs. The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
