Includes popular hiking and multi-use trails as well as lesser known unpaved forest roads such as Muddy Buddy, Parallel, and the “Road to Nowhere”. Venture off trail alongside scenic Third Branch Creek. Two lakes. Big trees. Cemeteries, CCC Memorial, mill site. Pack lunch, snacks, water. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for predicted weather and for meandering through about 1 mile of easy to moderate off trail. Restrooms at beginning and two miles. Porta-potty at 6 miles. Park entrance is on Beach Road (Rt. 655) 4 miles west of Rt. 10 (Ironbridge Rd.). $5 parking fee without park pass. Meet in the big parking lot near the pool/picnic area at 8 AM.
