February 28 (Wed) Manchester Slave Dock Trail RVA (D/3)

This is a great 5 1/2 mile hike along the James River, retracing the steps of Richmond slaves. We begin our hike on Hull St before crossing over the 14th Street bridge. Parking - coming from the north going south, turn right into the parking lot immediately after crossing the 14th Street (Mayo) Bridge; coming from the south, turn left into the parking lot immediately after the last light on Hull St before the bridge. We will meet at 9:50 am. There are several restaurants nearby for lunch after the hike.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
