David Olli (dolli@smv.org, 804-864-1461) A demanding 13+ mile loop featuring vigorous elevation change, boulder strewn & wet trail with a few stream crossings but a grand outcrop view at lunch and victorious feeling you’ve conquered the mountain. Time permitting we’ll make a post-hike stop for fresh picked apples at Silver Creek Seaman Packing located near the Route 56 Tye River trailhead. Not for the beginner-intermediate level or “I think I’m in hiking shape” so check with Dave before signing on. No young ‘ins or pets, please.
