Join us at the January general meeting with guest speaker John Bander, Bicycling Enthusiast presenting Oregon to Virginia: A Big Ride Across America. Plus club updates, gear swap (bring your outdoor gear for give away or barter), and a chance to catch up with and meet new friends. Science Museum of Virginia closes to public at 5:00, but committee set up any time after 6:00 is fine. Members meet at the first floor Discovery Room after 6:30 pm with Meeting officially starting at 7:00 pm.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
