This hike is on a rails-to-trail adaptive reuse of the former railroad bed about 2 hours west of Richmond in the foothills of Nelson County. The Trail has a 100 foot elevation change and the scenic Piney and Tye River valley views. This is an out and back hike for a total of about 10 miles. Bring water and lunch for the trail.
