Bill Tennant (282-0590 or Willyten10@aol.com). This is a nice walk in the woods on a cold winter day. Time to shake off that cabin fever. The Albemarle County Park is 480 acres, located just south of Charlottesville about one hour west of Richmond. This hike will be about 8-9 miles of gentle ups and downs around the lake with the ruins of a few old homesteads to add a little interest. Pack a lunch and we'll eat in the beach pavilion overlooking the lake. Contact Bill for time and meeting place.
