I HAVE ONLY A SPACE OR TWO LEFT IN THE MEN'S BEDROOM. WHO WANTS TO GO??????????
Bill Tennant (Willyten10@aol.com or 282-590) Does anyone want to spend a few autumn days hiking in the mountains and a few nights in a (warm)cabin? I have reserved the three bedroom cabin at Douthat State Park for Wednesday and Thursday, October 14 and 15. The colors should be great at that time. I figure we drive about 2.5 hours from Richmond Wednesday, do some hiking, spend the night at the Park, hike on Thursday, spend the night at the Park, hike some Friday and be back in Richmond for dinner Friday night.. W e have access to some good trails directly from the Park so driving once we get there should be at a minimum. I figure breakfast in the cabin, lunch on the trail and Clifton Forge is nearby for dinner. The cabin cost for each would be about $25 per night or $50 total, gas money is about $20, add a few dollars for meals and you have a three day hiking trip, cabin included for about $100. Let's go for a walk. Contact Bill if interested
