November 10 (Tuesday) ODATC General Membership Meeting at the SMV.
David Spears, the State Geologist since 2009 will speak on the geology of western Virginia specifically as it relates to the Appalachian Trail. Geology controls the topography, and therefore played a large role in the location of the trail. This is our opportunity to find out what lies below our feet (besides rocks, lots of rocks). Come join us at our new meeting location, The Discovery Room at the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 West Broad Street, Richmond VA 23220-2057.
